Final Design
I chose to base my project on the theme of narrative games. To give me inspirations and ideas on what to do for my final project, I looked, played and analysed into some more existing examples of narrative games in depth, and made a list of ideas that I could work on.

Ideas for final project:

A game based on Forking Paths
- Good side and bad side of life + 'what ifs'
- Using opposities to sum up person's life (eg. rich and poor)
- Tree branches like forking paths + audience gets to write their own story on a path

A game to guess the correct story (guess my story)
- If they get it correct, they get to write their own game?

Educational game or have a great meaning behind it
- Bringing up social/political issues?
Virtual Reality
- adventure/fantasy role playing games
- Cheats involved?

Game with no conclusion + never ending

Puzzle + thinking games

True Stories
- Truth + Lieing game
Second Life
- Virtual reality game
- Can walk through some walls and end up in another place
- Register online and download software to play
- Choose an avatar to be before you register (can change this later on in game), you can choose to be a human/vampire/robot/animal/object/vehicle/random
- You can teleport to different locations/places/rooms to chat with other real players around the world or get freebies, such as clothes
- You can add a friend and they can teleport you to different places, if you accept it
- Change + buy outfits/clothes/hairstyles/skins etc.
- Can take snapshots (print screens) of the game at any point using its program and can post it on your second life profile or on facebook/twitter sites
- Avatar can walk/run/fly
- Game has music + sound
- Change your camera perspective of the game, for example looking from avatars point of view or directly infront of them
- High level of interaction
Go Wild
- BT Interactive Climate Change Game
- Educational/Informational game, making people aware of the global issues such as global warming, and how it affects the nature and environment
- Choose animal creatures and each one represents a different continent/country at the beginning of game (can't change creature later on in game), you can chose to be a mosquito/spider monkey/giant panda/tiger snake/emperor penguin/hedgehog/giraffe
- You name the creature and it starts having a conversation with you
- Choose accessories for your character such as scarf + skates at the beginning of game
- Interactive board game that looks 3D
- Roll the dice by clicking onto it
- Mini games within main board game
- Sound effects and spoken words of conversation with chosen creature
- Earn points in game
- Most choices made at beginning of the game, nothing else to choose in board game, audience just follows through the path in the board game and will eventually get to the end
- Unrealistic cartoon animals speaking to user
- True informational facts and rhetorical questions on cliumate change in the game eg. Did you know.....?
